Our company was established in 1997, on the basis of fully Romanian private capital. Its first works were related to low voltage electrical installations.
Electrogrup enters a new activity field: construction of sites for GSM mobile telephony
Since 1999 the company has included works for mean voltage installation in its portfolio of services and in the same year, 1999, Electrogrup was among the first to set optical fibre works for low voltage lines in the urban areas and coexistence studies between low voltage lines and optical fibre cables.
In 2001 Electrogrup makes the fist work where it installs the first aerial optical fibre line of dielectric type, on the poles of mean voltage electric lines (20kV).
From 2002, Electrogrup includes in its portfolio works for installing telecommunications equipment.
In 2003, for the first time in Romania, Electrogrup advices electromagnetic compatibility studies and implements the solution of setting a mobile telephone site on the 110 kV line pole. The solution is registered as patent with OSIM.
The experience gained previously and the equipment of last generation acquired made possible the execution as general contractor of important national projects, in the construction of optical fibre networks on the infrastructure of high voltage lines with OPGW technology, including amplifying rooms and other equipment required by such works.
When 3G technology was issued, the company began to include in its services the installation of radio frequency equipment, as service integrator for mobile telephony operators.
From 2005, Electrogrup is certified by the Romanian Regulatory Authority for Energy (ANRE) as Supplier of services, design, building and maintenace of in 0.4-400kV electrical networks and electrical substations.
2007: the company inaugurates its new premises in Cluj-Napoca (office and production building), valued at 3 million euros. The company extends services at national level through its six work points: Cluj, Bucharest, Timisoara, Iasi, Brasov and Galati.
2008: Electrogrup continues its development strategy with an investment of 2.5 million euros in a new logistic basis in Bucharest
2009: the company develops its services portfolio in the field of renewable energies and public projects: water and sewerage systems, urban video survey systems.
2010: Electrogrup enters the wind farm field, part of a romania-german joint venture: Wind Energy Service East Europe. WESEE offers wind farm implementation & maintenance services, in South-East Europe.
